Where to Park

Visitors to the Northern Virginia Center can park in the metered parking spots in the upper lot or in the lower parking lot. Below is an explanation of all visitor parking options.

Parking is prohibited on Haycock Road, in the George Mason High School lots (without permission), in nearby residential areas, or in the commercial/shopping center parking lots. Long-term parking at the Center's metered parking is also prohibited. Unauthorized parking in any of these locations may result in your vehicle being towed at the owner's expense. Please avoid this inconvenience by only parking in designated areas.

Metered Parking

Visitors on short (few hours) visits to the Center may use the coin-operated / ParkMobile metered parking spaces at the front of the building. The ParkMobile zone number for the meters is 85601.

Lower Parking Lot - Daily Parking

To park in the lower lot, you must pay for parking using ParkMobile. The zone number for the lower lot is 85602.
The current, daily parking rates (set by WMATA) are $3.30 Monday-Friday, Free Saturday and Sunday and holidays. Daily parking is valid for 24 hours and you may enter and exit the lot as desired.
If you are issued a citation for improper parking in the lower lot, please refer to the Parking & Transportation website for information on how to pay or appeal the citation. NVC Facilities cannot accept payments or modify citations.

If you encounter unsafe conditions in the parking lots, please contact the NVC security guard at the desk in the 2nd floor lobby for assistance.
